Near-Airport Parking Facility has Travelers on Time with ‘FlyteBoard’

May, 2016

Travel out of Denver International Airport (DIA) got easier late last year, thanks to a new near-airport parking operation, ParkDIA. The 7,500-space facility provides travelers with first-class business amenities that include instant mobile check-in and check-out services, an executive lounge with high-speed Wi-Fi, and a real-time glance-and-go airport flight information display to keep its busy clients on schedule.

Developed by Flyte Systems, the leading provider of cost-effective airport travel information, the “FlyteBoard” at ParkDIA displays arrivals and departures in a familiar airport-style format.

The division of Industrial Television Services (ITS) delivers displays and digital signage content for the hospitality, corporate training and convention center industries and related businesses. The Chicago-based digital signage solutions company has more than 50 years of experience specializing in real-time information delivery.

FlyteBoard lets business travelers work in comfort until departure

Rory Thompson, General Manager of ParkDIA, said, “Our new facility is the closest near-airport parking on the south side of Denver International Airport. The FlyteBoard in our executive lounge is a valuable amenity for business travelers. It lets them work comfortably and with confidence until the last minute, while they [check] their flight’s departure schedule on the FlyteBoard. It gives travelers peace of mind by providing instant visibility on the status of their flight.”

ParkDIA offers clients new GMC airport shuttles that run exclusively on propane. With onsite fueling, the facility offers customers faster shuttle rotations, while reducing the impact on the environment. Shuttle amenities include mobile device charging at each seat and a shuttle tracking app to help travelers stay on schedule.

The company also provides QR Code functionality that lets customers quickly check out of ParkDIA on their handheld without waiting in line.

“Travelers want airline schedule information they can trust,” said Flyte Systems VP Scott Triphahn. “FlyteBoard real-time flight information displays are a valuable amenity that smooths the travel experience for people on the go.

“Our affordable, annual subscription flight information service is well within the budget of nearly all travel-related businesses,” he added. “We can install our flight information on a company’s compatible existing digital display for a faster ROI.”

Providing low-cost property promotions, local events and flight information

The Flyte Systems suite of products that serve the traveling public includes:

FlyteBoard is a wall-, floor- or ceiling-mounted flat-panel screen for lobbies, restaurants, bars, and other public areas. It displays flight information for one or more airports.

FlyteTouch enables individual guests to search flight information using an interactive touch screen that displays real-time flight arrivals and departures for one or more airports.

FlytePass combines FlyteTouch with free, secure, boarding pass printing. It is available as a standalone unit, or packaged in either an all-wood kiosk or an integrated metal kiosk to match the facility’s décor.

FlyteChannel permits guests to view live airport flight information conveniently and comfortably from their in-room television.

EventChannel shows property events and specials on the guest’s TV.

InfoBoard is a cost-effective touch screen display that saves labor, provides greater guest service, and generates revenue with flight information and more.

Many hotels and resorts also use the applications to increase revenue with innovative marketing approaches for travelers. For more on how to generate revenue by providing guests with Flyte Systems airline information, go to its website at www.flytesystems.com.
